Playing Guitar - Introduction for the beginner guitar players

As a beginner on playing guitars, it is the motivation that drives a person to learn how to play. When you saw a friend of yours who can play really well and knows almost every songs on charts today, you feel that you want learn it also. It is an added spice to your talent as a singer or just a way of expressing your yourself being creative. To actually play the rhythm of your favorite songs on the guitar while you sing along makes you feel great.

Learning it is difficult at the beginning because you need familiarize first the basic parts of the guitar. You need to know first how each part works and how it produces sounds. You need to be comfortable of the ergonomics and size of the guitar that you will use on your learning process. That is why buying a guitar of your own and of your choice makes it crucial for the beginners.

It is important to choose a guitar that is lightweight, the size should not be very bulky so that you can cradle it easily on your lap. Another advantage of having your own guitar is the accessibility of it. You can always grab your own guitar whenever you feel inspired and play some tunes anytime. Also, the key to be a successful guitar player is the mastery from your own guitar. You may not be a better player if you always switch guitars because not all guitars are have the same sizes and of the same feel.

It is known that Europeans are the first to introduce the guitar on 12th century. They are the ones that introduce it to Americans but it is not proven that they are the inventors of it. Some similar instruments that are comparable to the guitar are the Ukulele, Sitar and Banjo because they share common parts like neck, nut, fret, fingerboard and the body where the sound resonates.
